Siren Studios

Located in the center of Hollywood, Siren Studios specializes in renting and supporting photo and sound stages as well as renting grip, lighting and production equipment. "At any given time we could have small to large budget feature films, music videos, special events and print work for various media to include magazines and web," says warehouse manager Justin Rhoads.

"What do we support these shoots with? MSE equipment, of course," he adds. "We've been using MSE since the company started. Their LoBoy II and III, crank-o-vator, medium rollers, c-stands, and practically every other piece of grip hardware available is in our warehouse. Our clients love these stands, especially the LoBoys due to their compact design and strength."

Rhoads and company can't seem to keep the MSE equipment in–house, however. "Recently MSE's support went out on a Hasbro Cartoon commercial, an Olay commercial, Taco Bell commercial – and we are currently prepping an order for a Denny's commercial on which they' ordered six LoBoys and 12 cranks. Taco Bell and Denny's is done by one of our bigger clients, Woodshop Studios, Inc., by the way.

"Of course, I use MSE support all the time – on my personal shoots." And, Siren is always adding to their support warehouse – with new MSE equipment. What's next – besides much needed Apple Boxes and flags? "Who knows," says Rhoads. "If Matthews makes it – we're sure we'll come and get it."
